The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Elmedin Konaković, is participating today in a roundtable discussion titled “Preparing for Economic Slowdown: Hidden Investment Opportunities,” which is being held as part of the annual investment congress in Abu Dhabi.
According to earlier announcements, participants will exchange views on supporting efforts by countries to maintain and expand open, transparent, and non-discriminatory policies for international investment in the context of the ongoing global crisis.
“From robust infrastructure and manufacturing to growing sectors in renewable energy and tourism, our nation is a testament to resilience and strategic advantage. Join us in discovering these potential treasures,” the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated on this occasion.
As part of the Congress, the Tolerance Summit has been announced, where Minister Konaković, along with the host, the Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Nahayan Bin Mabaraka Al Nahyan, will deliver opening remarks, as earlier announced by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of BiH.
The Congress also discusses transformative changes happening within the global investment environment, which have brought rapid advancements in technology, geopolitical issues, dynamics of emerging markets, disruptions in value chains, and the imperative of sustainability.
The event has brought together numerous officials, politicians, industrial leaders, investors, as well as representatives of multinational and large companies, startups, small and medium-sized enterprises, and the academic community from more than 170 countries worldwide.
Konaković is participating in the Congress from May 7th to 9th.
