The largest regional Amazon Web Services (AWS) conference will take place this Friday in Sarajevo, gathering more than 500 professionals, engineers, artificial intelligence experts, investors, and business leaders from around the world.
The Cantonal Agency for Investment Promotion and Privatization Sarajevo (KAIP) is the strategic partner of this highly anticipated event, which has sparked significant interest not only across the region but also internationally. The conference will be held at Hotel Hills and will feature more than 40 sessions, along with numerous one-on-one meetings between key figures from the IT industry and global experts.
“The IT sector in Sarajevo Canton has experienced significant growth in recent years and represents a key development and investment opportunity. We recognized that this conference can—and will—serve as an important bridge through which investors can not only discover the advantages and opportunities of doing business in Sarajevo Canton, but also establish direct contacts for launching concrete projects,” said Adnan Jašarević, Director of KAIP.
The Amazon Web Services (AWS) Community Day Adria 2025 kicks off this Friday, with participation from experts representing companies such as Amazon, DataHog, HashiCorp, BMW Group, and The Walt Disney Studios.
Jašarević also emphasized that a series of business meetings will be held during the event, showcasing the benefits of investing and operating in Sarajevo Canton.
The conference, which will be opened by Jeff Barr, Vice President of AWS, is organized by the AWS User Group Bosnia and Herzegovina, led by Bosnian AWS experts Dženana and Dženan Dževlan. AWS is currently the world’s leading provider of cloud services.
