Cantonal Agency for Attracting Investments and Privatization (KAIP) is establishing cooperation with the Vienna Business Agency, a key development and investment agency in Austria’s capital, to enhance investment promotion efforts.

KAIP Director Adnan Jasarevic and his team met in Vienna with a delegation from the Vienna Business Agency, led by Christian Frey, Director of International Relations. They agreed on setting up a framework for cooperation in attracting and promoting investments between Vienna and Sarajevo Canton.

“This is a significant step that will not only facilitate the exchange of expertise but also open a new channel for presenting Sarajevo Canton’s investment and development potential. It will enable direct connections with Austrian companies and investors, particularly in the IT sector and green technologies. We also discussed collaboration on investment events and joint outreach to third markets. We are grateful to our partners in Vienna for their hospitality and willingness to strengthen our cooperation. Austria and the city of Vienna are true friends, and we appreciate their recognition of Sarajevo Canton as the most attractive investment location in the region.” – said Jašarević.

During the meeting at the Vienna Business Center, a presentation was held on the business and investment climate in Sarajevo Canton, highlighting new opportunities arising from EU reforms, infrastructure investments, tourism growth, and legislative advancements, such as the new Public-Private Partnership Law in Sarajevo Canton.
